GET CREATIVE AND LEARN NEW SKILLS

With different creative activities to try every week.

EXPERIENCE A RANGE OF CULTURES

From our amazing Facilitators from around the world.

HAVE FUN AND MAKE FRIENDS

We are all about having a great time and meeting new friends.

VIBRANT, TRAINED FACILITATORS

Ready to share their cultural knowledge and creative talents.

Connect with new friends, make beautiful creations and learn about different cultures in our Cultural Arts Programs. Our unique school-based program involves a series of one hour workshops that run over multiple weeks – each week bringing a new and exciting activity! They are the perfect way to give our little creatives the chance to learn a range of new creative skills, while also getting a taste of the many different cultures that call Australia home.

Our Cultural Arts Programs are typically run as an after-school program within in a school or out in the community. You can join an existing program or book us to hold a program at your school. The length of a program can vary, but we recommend 6-8 weeks to get the best experience for the participants.

To make our program even more enriching for our participants, we also partner (where possible) with your local high school. Scroll down to learn more about our school partnerships and how this can build strong links between schools, offer positive role models for your students and create opportunities for young women in your community.

Partnering with your local high school

A unique part of our Ethni model is the focus on enriching lives through role modeling and mentoring. Through our Creative Futures program, we provide a training and mentoring program for young women to become facilitators with Ethni. Our Creative Arts Programs are the perfect opportunity for primary schools to partner with their local high schools and have young women from the high school involved in facilitating the programs and being positive role models and mentors for the younger girls – particularly as they get older and transition to the high school themselves. Talk to us about how you can involve your local high school in your Creative Arts Program.

Testimonials

I would definitely recommend this program for other schools. They girls were so excited to come and looked forward to it each week - they really felt like it was their program!

I really think this is an amazing opportunity for the kids, their confidence shines through when they start this program. Whether it’s because they find new friends or enjoy the art, we seem to always find a way to make them comfortable and allow them to feel like they can be themselves.
