Do you have a story to tell? Something you’re passionate about and want to share with children and young people in your community?
We are now recruiting for 10 aspiring storytellers to join our Facilitator Training Program! The program will include building your skills in communication, storytelling and planning and running workshops for groups of children and young people. It will also include work experience facilitating programs in schools as part of our cultural awareness advocacy work, which can lead to paid employment as a Facilitator in our team!
who are we:
We are Ethni - a team of young women who are passionate about supporting each other to navigate life’s challenges and driving meaningful social change in our communities together. We provide safe and empowering spaces where young women can come together to learn, share their stories and advocate for a more equal world for all.

The superstars we are looking for:
Young women aged 16 - 25 years from a diverse cultural background - preference to those who have finished high school.
Passionate about educating and advocating for cultural and gender equality.
Enjoy using storytelling as a way to engage and connect with people.
Confident to speak in front of small groups (we will teach you the rest!).
Positive attitude and likes working in a team with others.
Organised and dedicated.
what’s involved:
2 x Facilitator Training Days - Saturday 29th May (second day TBC).
Attending work experience with Ethni at their school programs between June and September 2021 (times will vary and can be suited to your availability).
