Claiming your prizes

 

  • Winners will be able to claim their prize after 31 January 2021.

  • A valid ID will need to be viewed.

  • If you’re under 18 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT PERIOD

 

  • Winners announced through social media and notified by email after 31 January 2021.

  • Winners will also be published on our website for a period of 30 days after the competition period closes.

Who can enter

 

Entry is opened to young women and those who identify as a young women between the ages of 15 - 25, Australia-wide.

  • This competition is a game of skill.

  • Entries will be judged by three categories:

    • Ethni 2020 Winner for Digital Art T-Shirt Competition

    • Ethni 2020 Winner for Hand-drawn T-Shirt Competition

    • Ethni 2020 Young Designer, 15 - 18 years T-Shirt Competition

  • Entries must be submitted within the competition period.

  • To enter this competition participants are to create their own original art or design for a t-shirt, focusing on the theme, We Got You Girl, ensuring that the artwork meets the winning criteria.

  • Participants are limited to up to three submissions each.

  • Participants must complete their personal details on the website entry form and upload their artwork.

  • A parent or legal guardian of participants under 18 must also complete their contact details and check the acknowledgment box.

  • Winning designs will be printed and sold on the Ethni website as merchandise for fundraising purposes. By submitting your artwork you are giving Ethni Inc license to own, distribute and reproduce your artwork for commercial gain.

Winning Criteria

 

Your entry: 

  • Should demonstrate a clear message on sisterhood.

  • Should have originality of design or innovative concepts. 

  • Think about what will get an individuals attention on a t-shirt.

  • Ethni 2020 Young Designer, 15 - 18 T-Shirt Competition

    • $100 gift card from Eckersleys Art + Craft

    • Mentoring session with one of the Judges (of your speciality - digital or hand-drawn)

    • Handmade purse and scrunchie from Akua Larbi

  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany a winning participant under 18 to collect the prize. 

  • Prizes are not transferable.

How and when will winner(s) be informed?

 

  • Judging of the winners will take place at the Ethni office by Ethni employees and the final selection of 10 artworks will be judged by our creative panel. 

  • Winners will be notified by email and over social media.

  • Shortlisted entries will be shared on the Ethni website for a period of 30 days after the competition period ends.
